Police are investigating the alleged misuse of money raised to pay for the funeral of a boy killed in a North Queensland crash last month.

Lucius Baira-Hill, 13, was among four teenagers killed in a Townsville car crash in JuneNo charges have been laid and officers want to speak with the dozens of donors

The detective, who heads the Child Protection and Investigation Unit, said no-one had been charged but several people were being investigated.
