A one-year-old girl has escaped significant injury after a car slammed into a Queensland living room. 9News

Bricks were sent flying and landed on the lounge either side of the child.The child's mother Lena Ceddia was on the phone to her baby's father on her way home from work when she heard the crash through the phone.It is unclear what caused the car to leave the road and hit the home.

Emergency services said while the property is structurally sound, there is a significant amount of debris to clean up.
