A one-year-old baby was one of three people killed in Tuesday's tragic collision on the Warrego Highway west of Brisbane as police desperately seek information surrounding the crash.

The fourth occupant was taken to Toowoomba Hospital where he sustained"non-life threatening injuries". As a result of the crash, a second collision occurred between the westbound truck and a second truck travelling eastbound seconds later.

The driver of the westbound truck - a 20-year-old man from Kearneys Spring - was taken to Toowoomba Hospital where he sustained"non-life threatening injuries."
