One Nation Leader Pauline Hanson has accepted the resignation of her Queensland party leader after hidden camera footage showed Steve Dickson groping women and shouting lewd comments in a Washington DC strip club last year. In a statement released on Tuesday, Mr Dickson apologised for his behaviour, saying 'the footage does not reflect the person I am.
It shows a person who was drunk and not in control of his actions, and I take full responsibility for allowing that to happen.' Three weeks out from the federal election, Mr Dickson will remain on the Senate ticket because they have already been printed, with the Australian Electoral Commission saying that if he is elected, it will be up to One Nation and parliament to decide his future.
