The Australian economy is set to grow at its fastest rate in a decade according to the OECD - which recently moved to upgrade the nation’s fiscal prospects.

The think tank predicts the economy will expand by 4.5 per cent in 2021 up from 3.2 per cent and will then grow another 3.

1 per cent through 2022. Global economic prospects have also been upgraded from 4.2 per cent to 5.6 per cent, boosted by the rollout of COVID-19 vaccines

Context is required here, are we growing at the fastest rate in relation to recovering what was lost due to pandemic policy, recovering? What will the growth rates be when we are back to employment levels prior? For they were not impressive prior, wages were dead in the water.
