The New Zealand Warriors will arrive in Tamworth in NSW tomorrow after the club received approval to fly to Australia to play NRL.

The team will enter 14 days in isolation, where they will be permitted to train before the Telstra premiership recommences on May 28.

"The club will follow the strictest bio security protocols and, like all clubs, will participate in an education day about the protocols on Monday morning,” NRL Chairman Peter V'Landys said.

I hate nrl more now than ever . Fuck these lockdowns. We haven’t seen family in months but let fooooooty start.

ScottMorrisonMP don’t keep asking me to download the tracing app now !!!

RubyDutton opens our borders again for people unable to follow social distancing laws

Because the government would never stop the NRL stars from having a life...it's just the rest of the country that can fucking wait !!!

Permission to land granted by RubyDutton and BF. So that puts the blame where it always belonged for the 32 deaths and over 700 infections. We now know that RubyDutton is guilty of criminal negligence at the least. So ScottMorrisonMP what are you going to do

Luv it...and not because it's sport But because the neurotic ABC crowd will go into a complete meltdown over this I get way more enjoyment out of the unhinged ABC-ers than i do out of footy

Shops are going broke ,people are locked in their homes ,borders are closed, people are dying, but football is more important, what a lot or hypocrites, why bother downloading the Coronavirus apt ,what a wast of time.

SeanBradbery Wait till the NRL looks back and says, shit I never saw this coming. Sadly, nobody will be held accountable for the pain and grief they will have caused. How dumb are humans?!

I feel empty without the footy on the weekend. Bring it back.

What does Chris Kenny say about this?

Australia will not be 'intimidated' by Chinese threats | Sky News AustraliaFormer Director-General of ASIO Dennis Richardson says any global investigation into the origins of the coronavirus and the response from China should be a learning process, and not 'be about putting China on the mat'.\n\nMr Richardson said he doesn't think this was the approach the Australian government will be taking, as there are specific objectives it wants to achieve which will require 'very boring but essential quiet diplomacy'.\n\n'We won't achieve our objectives through megaphone diplomacy'.\n\nIn recent weeks, China - primarily through its Ambassador to Australia Jingye Cheng - has bristled at Australia's call for an independent global investigation into the origins of the virus.\n\nThe Ambassador first threatened a potential consumer boycott on Australian exports, and then on Tuesday leaked a private conversation with Secretary of the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade Frances Adamson.\n\nMr Richardson told Sky News host Chris Kenny although Australia is not as outwardly patriotic as other nations, 'if we're threatened we're a pretty determined country'.\n\n'That is not the way you win friends and influence in this country'.\n\n'Australia is not a country that's going to be intimidated by threats of that kind'.\n It should be about holding China to account for their lies. Another China apologist. AKA he has already had a brown paper suitcase. 😒

Australia should not have a 'trade dependency' on China | Sky News AustraliaAustralia cannot change its position on holding an inquiry into the origins of COVID-19 just because of pressure from China, according to Nationals backbencher Matt Canavan.\n\nRelations between Australia and China has soured over the past few weeks after the government called for an independent inquiry into the origins of COVID-19. \n\nChina has furiously rejected calls for an independent inquiry and warned it could boycott Australia’s education, tourism, and export sectors in retaliation.\n\nThe stoush has further strained the relationship which was already in the deep freeze over the Turnbull Government’s decision to ban Huawei from the 5G rollout. \n\nDespite this, China remains Australia’s largest trading partner and accounts for 26 per cent of its trade around the world.\n\nMr Canavan told Sky News the current situation has shown Australia has a “dependent trade relationship” with China.\n\n“I sure as hell don’t want to trade off our nation’s freedom, our nation’s sovereignty, just to do some trade with another country,” he said.\n Lets hope the US/UK deep state is thoroughly investigated as well... Pooy pooy all so goooy Sky news. Their talking heads look as though they would crawl over the corpse of a dead dog for a sniff of a buck.
