Technology used by Victorian Police in the aftermath of the 2017 Bourke Street attack in Melbourne helps guide NT Police's approach to gathering evidence for a case against the alleged Darwin gunman.

The operation's chief investigator, Commander Travis Wurst, said officers were working to formally identify the fourth victim.

"We have managed to reach positive identification on at least three, and we're waiting to make sure that we've communicated with next of kin," he said. The first victim was identified on Wednesday as 33-year-old taxi driver and Charles Darwin University IT graduate Hassan Baydoun.NT Police's solutions from Bourke Street

Commander Wurst said NT Police had developed a"new link" to an online tool called evidence.com overnight, to be used by witnesses of the shootings as a central database to upload evidence including mobile phone footage. "What we've developed overnight is a new link through a program called evidence.com, and what that will allow the community to do if they have mobile phone footage, they have dashcam footage, CCTV camera footage, they'll be able to access that link," Commander Wurst told ABC Radio Darwin.

World media condemns Australian Federal Police raids targeting journalistsMedia outlets around the world have described the raids targeting Australian journalists as an attack on press freedom. WTF is going on? The foreign white European-Anglo-Christian ruling caste of Australia since first contact are attacking each other instead of the natives or even the Asians or Muslims or the Africans with these unprecedented raids on the free Anglo-English press. 😆 I’ll bet the good ‘ole USA does not condemn this raiding of journo’s offices and homes.
