Labor sources have told Sky News the Northern Territory Chief Minister Michael Gunner could retain a majority government, but will lose seats in this weekend’s election.

A source has told Political Editor Andrew Clennell the government could win 10 or 20 out of the 25-seat parliament this weekend. “There is certainly a belief in Labor that six months ago they were gone,” Mr Clennell said. “But the COVID-19 crisis and the handling of that could allow them to retain majority government on Saturday.”
