NSW’s soaring COVID-19 vaccination rates have prevented an expected horror October, with the Perrottet government now focused on showcasing NSW to the world as part of its recovery plans.
Former premier Gladys Berejiklian said October would be the worst month for NSW’s health system but the number of hospitalised COVID-19 patients continues to fall. In NSW, 84.4 per cent of adults over 16 are now fully vaccinated and 93 per cent of NSW adults have had at least one dose. More than 48 per cent of 12-15 year olds are fully vaccinated.

AlexSmithSMH After the announcement today in Victoria, we look to NSW to announce what our world looks like here at 90% and beyond. The Dec 1st restriction easing was a placeholder. It still very restrictive for business especially venues in the music industry. We must scrap density limits!
