Breaking: NSW has recorded two cases of COVID-19 in the past 24 hours, but for a second straight day none of those were within the community | natassiazc marywardy

"The government is very much in the space of considering health advice [on] easing restrictions and I want to make that clear."But we won't have the confidence to do that unless we have higher rates of testing, because that will assure us that we have captured all previously undetected cases of the virus, which may still be infectious in the community."

The numbers come after NSW reported no new local cases on Thursday for the first time since January 6. "We are really pleading with the community, please come forward and get tested if you have the mildest of symptoms. That will allow us to have the confidence to bring me easing of restrictions," Ms Berejiklian said.over the past week, as Queensland authorities conducted an urgent review of its hotel quarantine system after six cases of the strain were linked to the same hotel.

There were no new local cases reported in Victoria on Friday, but local health authorities were investigating after a Victorian resident returned a "very low positive result" on Thursday.

natassiazc marywardy NSW does manage it well.

natassiazc marywardy Victoria should open the border my god!!

libliars natassiazc marywardy 12 untraced community cases and 150 active cases, so Sydney is still definitely a hotspot.

natassiazc marywardy Meanwhile:

natassiazc marywardy Testing graph from Surveillance Report

natassiazc marywardy 'The NSW Sewage Surveillance Program reported 16 detections – these samples were taken from the Ulladulla, Glenfield, Quakers Hill, Warriewood, West Hornsby, Bondi, North Head, Malabar 1 and Malabar 2 treatment plants, and Camellia North and Northmead'

natassiazc marywardy So the headline should be “NSW has recorded 2 cases in quarantine but no new community cases.

natassiazc marywardy NSW 'daily case' reports don't mean much since they can be 3 days after swab. Worrying sewerage-test results in Sydney's North-West. Personal test rates are half what NSW Health wants, but poor impotent Gladys, reduced to begging people to get tested. Oh, for a proactive premier

natassiazc marywardy *Zero cases (with two in quarantine)*

natassiazc marywardy What will the hysterical and grumpy premier up north do now? Build a wall and charge NSW for it?

natassiazc marywardy NSW still thinking about seesawing their way through settings

natassiazc marywardy Thank you NSW.
