For the second day in a row NSW has recorded not a single case of COVID-19, either locally acquired or in hotel quarantine.

In a statement on Monday, NSW Health asked people to remain vigilant and come forward for testing immediately if they had symptoms like a runny nose, scratchy throat, cough or fever.

"This is particularly important with the start of school holidays and increased movement of people around the state," the statement said. Asked if the state would further relax rules Premier Gladys Berejiklian said on Sunday NSW was continually reviewing restrictions in line with expert health advice.

"While the health and safety of the people of NSW remains our priority, we are also focused on firing up the economy and getting people back in jobs," she said.NSW Health is treating 63 COVID-19 cases, including three in intensive care, none of whom are being ventilated. Eighty-seven per cent of cases being treated by NSW Health are in non-acute, out-of-hospital care.People in Australia must stay at least 1.5 metres away from others.

If you are experiencing cold or flu symptoms, stay home and arrange a test by calling your doctor or contact the Coronavirus Health Information Hotline on 1800 020 080.

2019 - NSW winter flu deaths 188 2020 - NSW Covid19 deaths 55 Stop the hysteria & lift the lockdown. Let Australians get back to work & living free again. Its gross incompetence & nigh on criminal behaviour by media & politicians.

Kinda *sigh of relief* atleast:))

Probably due to the sudden and massive decline in testing. In other words, it means diddly squat.

Only 208 days to go and NSW will catch up with today’s WA figures.

How an algorithm could curb the spread of COVID-19 through schoolsA Melbourne software program for organising primary school classes is being used by American schools to curb the spread of COVID-19 among their students. Advertising a product to try and weight to gloomy false assertions🤔 It won't suit The Age's narrative to make it sound irretrievably bad then cry Dan, but lockdown actually has a positive effect on kids social/mental wellbeing when they bounce back on re-opening. We need kids to get it. This program sounds like a rip off of Class Creator. CC started in 2014 has made millions of student placements. Used in the US for years, including this year during the pandemic. This smacks of a company trying to make money off someone else's idea and using a global pandemic.
