Jenny West, former deputy secretary at government agency Investment NSW, said she engaged lawyers after she was advised last year that her anticipated posting to New York as the state’s senior trade and investment commissioner would not proceed.A NSW upper house committee is inquiring into the circumstances in which former deputy premier John Barilaro was given the trade posting this year.
