A simple driving indiscretion has turned into multiple charges for a Dubbo motorist pulled over by New South Wales police officers over the long weekend. In a post on Facebook, the NSW Police Traffic and Highway Patrol Command detailed the bizarre circumstances which led to one man’s Easter weekend going from bad to worse.
However, upon further investigation it was discovered the driver was unlicensed, and the number plates belonged to another car. This was only compounded when a roadside drug test returned a positive result for methamphetamine. The man then allegedly called and sent text messages to a person who had taken out an Apprehended Violence Order against him – in front of officers, all while he is currently out on bail.
