if electedLabor will look to extend rail lines from Western Sydney to Macarthur, and from St Marys to TallawongThe opposition leader says they have prioritised areas with rapidly growing communities

He also said they can't support the Bankstown to Glenfield line given the Sydenham to Bankstown segment has "blown-out by $6 billion and is already a year late". Labor lies.

the train experts dont think the metro is viable

I hope they're planning on dropping the metro crap.

Well at least they are being slightly honest with their piss weak commitment to public transport. I'd hope that there would be an announcement of more lines. But, there is a Labor tradition to uphold of cancelling public projects.

I live at Riverstone, no bus goes from my house to Tallawong station . If you don’t get to Tallawong by 8am you have no hope of parking your car. End up driving anyway. Have a brand new transport system, that is rendered useless due to piss poor planning.

Why would they commit to LNP policies? The point of being an opposing party is to *checks notes* have differing policies and agendas for Government.

Metro lines could be great, but never at the expense of heavy rail such as the Bankstown line. The Liberals have already screwed us over on that one.

such a waste. Add more metro lines. Appoint the ghost of Bradfield as governor.

NabilAlNashar We need versatile heavy rail which can also be used for freight trains, not these narrow body metros with few seats. People want to work on their laptops when commuting. Not possible in metros. These should be stopped. It was a Liberal privatisation ChrisMinnsMP

Fair dinkum Chris Minns is a plonker, what a disappointment

building public transport is hard guys :((( let’s just give up

‘Major shift’: Labor’s super plans raise questions about ‘transparency and truthfulness’Labor’s plans for super which were announced this week raise questions about the government’s “commitment to transparency and truthfulness”, says Sky News Digital Editor Jack Houghton. Steve Price said on The Project he believes Treasurer Jim Chalmers’ comments seem “a lot less about early access to your super than about the tax concessions super has”, and the government will “come after some of those tax concessions”. Mr Houghton said Labor insisting they did not have any intention to make changes to super while in Opposition did not stop the Prime Minister and Assistant Treasurer from “trying to wriggle out of it” this week. Assistant Treasurer Stephen Jones told the ABC the comments Labor made before the election have to be “viewed in the context of everything we’ve said about superannuation”. “This is a major shift from what we were told last year, and it goes right to the government's credibility,” Mr Houghton said. That’s rich coming from you! Hey Sky ask the LNP about transparency, what did the Australian people get for the 1 Trillion dollars the Morrison Government spent. The only people benefiting were the LNP and their business buddies. What about Robodebt, Sports Rorts, Car Park Rorts & missing US Fuel Reserves. Transparency, who was paying Christian Porter's legal fees or why was Alan Tudge's Mistress paid $500,000 of Taxpayers money ,Transparency Please.👍
