More than 20 venues, where infected COVID patrons spent time in the past week, have offered NSW Health CCTV footage for tracing investigators. “In what needs to be called out as the most damaging case of political correctness in this pandemic … the health department are refusing to use the footage, for privacy reasons,” Mr Smith said. “It's like during times of heightened terrorism, the public must lose some of their civil liberties, for the safety of themselves and others.
