New South Wales Treasurer Dom_Perrottet says the government is looking to have international students arrive in the next six to eight weeks.

New South Wales Treasurer Dominic Perrottet says the government is looking to have international students arrive in the next six to eight weeks. “The system has been signed off by New South Wales Health and New South Wales Police and is currently before the federal government for final review,” Mr Perrottet told Sky News.

The treasurer said the program will run alongside the state's hotel quarantine system. “Not one Australian will be put out by these changes and we will have a provider of accommodation which will be in the same system,” he said. “It won’t come at a cost to the taxpayers because the bill will be footed by the university sector.”

Good to see. It's not for everyone but it should be an option, it isn't enough that s'cide is decriminalised as stigma is so enshrouding. People enduring a painful end of life should have the right to have family have friends with them as they choose dignity in their OWN death.
