The New South Wales government has pledged more than $360 million to lower socio and economic communities by raising casino tax rates. It’s not clear how the money would be used or which areas would benefit, but if given the go-ahead, the changes would come into effect from July 2023.
And I wonder who will benefit from these taxes? Lobbies, donors, developers?
