On Tuesday New South Wales Premier Gladys Berejiklian was briefed on an unsuccessful cyber attack on her government, but said there was no need for any announcement around it, according to Sky News Political Editor Andrew Clennell. The attack comes after Prime Minister Scott Morrison announced on Friday Australia had been targeted by a massive-scale cyberattack.

Mr Morrison said all levels of the Australian government and Australia’s private sector were targeted in the attack which he described as “malicious”. “The New South Wales government’s own systems thwarted the attack but the New South Wales government then sent it up the chain to national security Agencies,” Mr Clennell said. “The view of the New South Wales government last week was there was no need for any announcement around it.

Coronavirus restrictions to ease despite new lift in cases: deputy health chiefMonday's easing of coronavirus restrictions will go ahead as planned, despite another day of double-digit figures of positive cases in Victoria. After a media exposé of the Victorian laborparty covid19 cases have spiked, that's very interesting JennyMikakos DanielAndrewsMP VictorianCHO it's funny how NSW haven't also had a spike, despite their higher daily tests, don't take us for mugs, Victorians are watching you 👀 Annaliese van Diemen just stated 'I wouldn't want to smear a group' when asked if the 20-30 year old age group were more cavalier regarding health advice. Where was this conviction of conduct a few months ago when instigating mass protests 😡 Why dont CHO start including mental health stats in these daily updates. Wouldn’t that be a more balanced big picture to make health based decisions? Include New cases (presented to beyond blue), active cases (total numbers versus prior year), deaths (suicides), etc.
