NSW Treasurer Dominic Perrottet is handing down the state budget at 12pm. Follow our live coverage, and see everything we know so far, here:

NSW Treasurer Dominic Perrottet says the unemployment threat facing the state has been turned on its head and a skills shortage from international border closures is now putting NSW at risk.

The pandemic unemployment threat has been replaced with a skills shortage as a result of closed borders, the Treasurer says.“Who would have thought 12 months later that the biggest issue for industry on the ground is a labour shortage and skills shortage. He said “pressure was building” on the cost of the state’s $100 billion pipeline of infrastructure projects. “What we need to make sure is that we have the skilled labour in place that is going to deliver those projects on time and in a reasonable price for taxpayers of NSW,” Mr Perrottet said.
