police commissioner Mick Fuller and the state’s chief scientist and engineer, Mary O’Kane, will head an inquiry into the state’s flood crisis.
There has been widespread criticism of the handling of the crisis after people were left stranded on roofs in Lismore in the state’s north-east after it was inundated with a record 14.37-metre flood on 28 February. Many people had to be rescued by fellow residents on private watercraft, nine people died, thousands lost their homes and many were uninsured because of the high cost of premiums.
It will also scrutinise the emergency response, particularly measures to protect life, property and the environment. The inquiry could make recommendations on the safety of emergency services and community emergency responders, as well as the future land use planning and management and building standards in flood-prone areas.

More enquires when they need a permanent solution. Why don't they build homes in flood areas on pontoons, was done in England and in this century we should be smart enough to do it.
Another attempt to divert government funding to receive zero result 🙄
Announce an inquiry (even Royal Commission) and then do nothing. The modern political strategy of accountability!
Morrisons neighbour?
But surely Albo did it?

Mick fuller to head up the inquiry..., why bother with the pretence 🤔
He could just ask Greg Mullins? Spending millions on an inquiry by a pentecostal mate of Morrisons with no emergency preparedness or response background other than managing road blocks stinks of yet another coverup.
