NRL round 7 LIVE: Sydney Roosters v Melbourne Storm at Allianz Stadium

Melbourne players refused to leave the field at the break until Jahrome Hughes had finished a TV interview.The Storm have survived a stack of pressure before half-time.Nelson Asofa-Solomona pounced on a loose ball, went to get to his feet to play the ball, but Ash Klein was convinced he was trying to play on, and allowed the Roosters to shove him back in-goal.

Melbourne coach Craig Bellamy was clearly unimpressed with the call when the cameras flashed to the Storm box.Cam Munster put up as lovely kick, Katoa came down with it, then somehow powered his way to the line while carrying three Roosters defenders.Nelson Asofa-Solomona appeared to drive Katoa towards the line, which s a big no-no, but the bunker had no issues.

Daniel Tupou climbed high to knock down a towering kick back in-field, and Mr 301 NRL games was on the spot.Jahrome Hughes has scored for the Storm. He launched a big kick to Will Warbrick, who tapped the ball back for Eli Katoa, who then showed good initiative to throw the ball back in-field for his halfback who was running st full steam.Three Roosters defenders could only watch as Hughes sprinted 20m to score.Jared Waerea-Hargreaves is on report for a high shot on Christian Welch.The Roosters went close through Victor Radley moments earlier, only for the lock forward to spill the ball.
