NRL player’s ‘off the charts’ injury revealed after teammate’s unlucky landing

The revelation comes after New Zealand coach Nathan Brown said some of his players looked for the “easiest way out” and gave up in the second half.Facing a quick turnaround for their clash with Canberra on Saturday, Brown has made a number of personnel changes, some injury or suspension enforced, in an effort to find the form that resulted in three wins in a row earlier this season.

“There was obviously some younger players that had some really, really difficult days. You just want them to learn from it. “I’d be lying if I said he wasn’t disappointed, knocked around a little bit,” Brown said of the winger.“Not too many of us play NRL and don’t have some sort of performances where we get a kick up the backside of the coaches.”
