NRL chief tells Roosters fans they weren't robbed by knock-on in epic loss to Storm | mrchrisnico

: Having been trailing 22-12 with nine minutes left, the Storm score twice to level the scores. Cameron Smith then kicks a crucial conversion that brushes the right upright and gives the Storm an improbable lead heading into the last five minutes -: At the end of a middling attacking set, Luke Keary puts a non-threatening high kick which is allowed to bounce. Daniel Tupou slaps it back in field as James Tedesco tries to grab it, only to be tackled without the ball by Suliasi Vunivalu.

: The Roosters charge down-field from the kick-off, and on the fourth tackle Nat Butcher squeezes an offload that allows Tedesco to run a further 10m and make it easier for Keary to slot a field-goal from 33m out. It was more sand iron than one wood but as Gould says "as soon as he kicks it, he raises his arm because he knows it is only going one place".: The Storm take a short kick-off to the right, and a Daniel Tupou knock-on from the kick-off gives Melbourne one last set.
