After another horror night at the office, Broncos coach Anthony Seibold tried to stay upbeat but there was one topic that was off-limits.

“A million dollars for me for a back-rower is quite high,” Johns said. “I think the Broncos said they’d only go to seven or eight hundred , something like that.

Fifita’s Broncos teammate Pat Carrigan said while he wants the young gun to stay, he can understand if the injured star heads to the glitter strip given the money being put in front of him. “It is not a distraction at all. I can’t wait to get him back on the field and hopefully that is here for a couple more years.

'He never flinches on anything': Living up to the standards of SBWHe’s played five matches, not many of them particularly dazzling, this year. So, it's safe to say his return for the Roosters, if only for a small cameo in the final two months of the season, is a risk, yes? Mehhhhhhh, where there's a camera, theres SBW :-) Too old, injury prone, not up to it, penalty magnet in Rugby Union too, never quite got it, did he. What a waste of time. Don’t want to hear any more about SBW. Good article and I agree with awebster1975 . As a fan I've never thgt that him returning now is about him being a superstar, those days are gone. Fact is that due to a bad injury list we need a solid second rower. And even slower he is still that or could be. Simple really

Forget the Roosters: Mundine's advice to his mate Sonny Bill WilliamsWhile a return to the Roosters beckons, Anthony Mundine has advised his great mate Sonny Bill Williams to make his mark at a struggling NRL club. proshenks Whatever Choc suggests - do the reverse proshenks It seems like even Mundine's good mates don't listen to him. I'm sort of glad he's off to the Roosters, he's a geriatric by footy terms, that's enabled West's Tigers to pick up a promising 20yo outside back from the Chooks this year rather than in 2021 which he signed up for. proshenks Mundine and Williams: two people to ignore at any given opportunity.
