Novak Djokovic suffers his earliest exit at the Italian Open, saying his balance and coordination were off after a water bottle fell on his head after his previous match.

Novak Djokovic lost in the third round to 29th seed Alejandro Tabilo , marking his earliest exit in 18 trips to Rome.

The match ended with Djokovic bombing a second serve down the middle but missing the mark and serving his fifth double fault for the match.
