Appears court didn't rule on the basis to decline his visa but on the process to decline (not afforded appropriate time to respond). Leaves door open to decline visa on the basis of no vaccination. Gov should decline visa to clarify the no vaccination issue and deter copycats

Not really surprised. I think there are legal issues about how the vaccination requirement is communicated at the visa application stage and what information is given about verification requirements. Not a well developed legal scheme.
This is a real injustice to the Australian people who are not afforded the same. I do hope the Australian Government moves to cancel the visa and deport
