A court has postponed a decision about whether notorious paedophile Vivian Frederick Deboo will serve the remainder of his jail sentence at home until new laws pass SA Parliament.

Deboo was arrested in December 2016, but waited until the day before his District Court trial to finally plead guilty to multiple counts of indecent assault and gross indecency.

His victims — two brothers — and their large group of supporters packed the courtroom for his sentencing and welcomed the penalty. "However, in the judicial climate we are in we are very satisfied with Judge Stretton's remarks and his sentence," he said. "My brother and I have suffered immeasurably through this court system because this monster has refused to admit his guilt and he has dragged us to hell and back.Deboo's bid to serve his sentence from his Pasadena home spurred the victims to confront him outside court before his bail was revoked.

SA rapist who kept kidnapped backpacker in pig shed jailed for 18 yearsA South Australian man who kidnapped and raped a European backpacker in a pig shed on his regional property has been jailed for 18 years ... and so he should, that's fair.... yet Borce Ristevski is sentenced to nine years in jail and was ordered to serve a non-parole period of six years? Borce Ristevski should be 18+ years. Where's the deterrent? He needs to be castrated immediately. Chemical or preferably surgical. Should have had ten years for the kidnap and deprivation of liberty. Don't get me started on the rape.

Ardern: 'I don't understand why US hasn't passed stronger gun laws''Australia experienced a massacre and changed their laws. New Zealand had its experience and changed its laws. To be honest, I do not understand the United States.' 9News Hey Arden would you like it if Trump started telling you how to run your country? The NRA is very powerful and hart to battle against. USA is much bigger than NZ. Big means more problems because way too many of them are morons and think it is their sacred right to have guns - it's a culture thing and an ignorance thing...it will never change..but they will keep burying their kids as a penalty for the stupidity Because he (Trump), despite all his seemingly strong man ways he is really a wimp at tackling the NRA. It is 'easier' to talk about sacrificing American kids than trying to change the culture/laws that allows this. Pathetic actually. Where there is no will there is no way!!
