The 'Rohingya' should stay in Bangladesh, where they're originally from. They tried to build their own Islamic state in Rakhine, raping, assaulting & killing the Indigenous Burmese for years. No wonder the locals wanted them gone. Violence begets violence, glad its ended now.

racvictoria They’re not stupid. Nothing has basically changed in Myanmar. It’s still not safe. And with the villages burnt down, there’s not a lot to go back to. Imagine how traumatic it would be to be expected to live in the same place where you witnessed rapes and murder! Rohingya

You know that things are crap in Myanmar when Bangladesh is a more attractive alternative.

Berejiklian drawn into a bitter debate that was not of her makingGladys Berejiklian has returned from a trade mission to Europe a party tearing itself apart, prompting a drift feed of concessions. AlexSmithSMH True colors have come out 😉 AlexSmithSMH Isn’t the much simpler explanation that GladysB got this political judgement (whatever you think on abortion) spectacularly wrong? AlexSmithSMH Why is NSW making such a meal of something that was relatively straight forward in other states and other countries? The precedents are there. Let's stop wasting time.
