They have also been backed up by the government's own handpicked chair of the Productivity Commission, Danielle Wood, who has warned that without a clear exit strategy, the government was risking creating industries dependent on subsidies and without clear competitive advantages. "They're not awash with economic credibility, we understand that every time that they open their mouth," he said.
