Territorians will pay $40 to pick up a new set of number plates and the cost of personalised plates will increase to $250.The Government will also consider charging people to visit national parks and museums which are currently free.

Fifty-two public service executive jobs will be cut next financial year, including seven from the Office of Chief Minister. Departments who stick to their budgets will be allowed to keep some of the under spent funds as a reward, while the heads of agencies who overspend will face the sack.
