Is our drinking water safe after fires and floods?Water authorities Australia's east coast are dealing with bushfire ash and flood waters affecting water quality. So what are they doing to keep it safe? After seeing Flint, I purchased a whole house filtration system that was fairly expensive but it is worth it when you can’t trust government to be honest about water quality For the last 2 days my water has smelt and tasted like dirty aquarium water, it’s ok after boiling. Birds shit and piss in it every day..........seems to be no ill effects to most.
