Australia Headlines News

Months of negotiations have come to nothing after Australia told their South African counterparts Tim Paine’s men would not be boarding the plane to play the three-Test series as planned.

Australia’s World Test Championship destiny is now out of their hands, its hopes of making the final resting on a narrow band of results in England’s series in India falling their way.

Australia’s Test tour of South Africa has been called off, much to the dismay of cricket authorities on the other side of the Indian Ocean.

The South Africans have said little publicly throughout the talks but had privately been bemused by the increasingly difficult demands placed on them by CA. Eyebrows were raised when CA asked for staff at the resort to be isolated for three weeks, in excess of the customary fortnight. “So really as we’ve worked through the residual risk and also some questions and challenges around if we were to get a case how and when we can get our players back home, taking advice of medical experts and putting health and safety absolutely No. 1, we were really left with no option.”

Fake COVID-19 vaccine distribution networks uncovered in China, South AfricaPolice in China and South Africa seize thousands of fake doses of COVID-19 jabs, global police organisation Interpol says, warning this represented only the 'tip of the iceberg' in vaccine-related crime. They are all pretty much the same. You can find an example of one in a Chinese medical school. Of course the chinese will not only give the world a pandemic but fake vaccines as well. Good on South Africa for uncovering this. The government provides free vaccine, how the fake ones make money?
