Cleveland Browns quarterback Deshaun Watson was given a preview on Friday of what road games will be like when he resumes his NFL career full time

who have filed lawsuits against him. The Browns did not make him available for the media after Friday’s games but Watson earlier issued an apology to the women involved in the allegations.

“Look, I want to say that I’m truly sorry to all of the women that I have impacted in this situation,” Watson said in his pregame interview. “The decisions that I made in my life that put me in this position I would definitely like to have back, but I want to continue to move forward and grow and learn and show that I am a true person of character and I am going to keep pushing forward.”“I think he probably wants some throws back,” Stefanski said.

The NFL’s regular season starts on 8 September. If Watson serves a six-game suspension he would return against the Browns’ divisional rivals, the Ravens, in Baltimore where he would face a significantly more hostile crowd than in Jacksonville.

'Hospital on wheels' a likely gamechanger for homeless people such as PeterA mobile health clinic being opened by St Vincent's Public Hospital means rough sleepers can get a blood test while they have a hot meal at one of Sydney's community centres. I think a home would be better. The outreach nurses on foot in Melbourne have been doing this for 10 years, health care on the pavement, down lanes and bridges, for people who are homeless. Saves lives, money and pressure on our busy EDs. 👏👏 How can I access the daily location of this vehicle? abcnews

When chasing a love triangle means you miss the real storyWhen I saw Olympic and Commonwealth games gold-medallist and champion swimmer Kyle Chalmers last weekend in the Sydney airport lounge I was walking over to him before I knew what I was doing. But it wasn't for a selfie, I had something important to say, writes Virginia Trioli. How about naming those so called journalists who would not leave Chalmers alone and let them know how most people feel about them. By the way, I call them parasites, not journalists. In fairness, love triangles seldom work. I was in one once and I somehow came fourth. It was one of the few times I wasn’t completely winning at life. Luckily my team thrashed Riverton 1st XI that week by an innings and 80-odd runs, and we all went to the Rusty Bucket for beers. 👏👏👏 LaTrioli

Why Play School means so much to so many AustraliansFor 56 years, Play School has been there for Australians young and old, bringing fun, education and a sense of safety in uncertain times. If John Hamblin could come back on as a grandfather (as he seems to be happy to), I would watch it in a minute. Every presenter over the years has been great, but he made the whole family laugh like no other. That show was filled with important life lessons. Big Ted taught me how to adopt a champion’s winning mindset. I kept that lesson close to my heart into adulthood, and now I own not one but two 1980s Holden Geminis. Life has been kind. Thanks Big Ted. Meanwhile, Salman Rushdie was stabbed. Go out, buy the Satanic Verses.
