A leaked email from Nine Entertainment’s CEO has reportedly urged anyone with complaints of “inappropriate behaviour” to come forward in the wake of allegations aimed at the network’s former news director. Director of news and current affairs Darren Wick quit the network in March after a long period of leave, starting in mid-January. The Australian reported earlier this week that his departure followed allegations of inappropriate behaviour towards a female staff member.
” The email comes after more than a dozen current and former Nine employees reportedly spoke to The Daily Telegraph, on condition of anonymity, about a culture they claim allowed Wick to behave inappropriately and get away with it. One woman told the outlet it had been “difficult for women to work with and under him” for years. “Everybody, women in particular, has experienced it.
