New Zealand volcano: Bodies to be recovered tomorrow

Two New Zealanders remain in burns units, and a mix of other nationalities.The UK, USA and Australia have all offered specialist medical teams to flyover to help and relieve staff.

NZ Police's officer in charge of the operation Mike Clement said he would not make the call to send in recovery teams until the risk of another eruption had lowered. Mr Clement said he sympathised with the victims' families need to see their loved ones returned home. Patients have been transferred to Melbourne's The Alfred Hospital and Sydney's Concord Hospital for emergency treatment.
