New South Wales regions leave lockdown

The changes extend to low-risk areas which have seen zero COVID-19 cases for at least 14 days and means up to five visitors will be allowed in a home and 20 people can gather in outdoor settings.

Schools will return to in-person learning and hospitality venues can reopen under the one person per four square metre rule but the government says high vaccinations rates are the key to easing restrictions.

I'm still waiting for Wingecarribiee to be apart of this. We have higher ratings of people who have had the vaccination unlike the places who are now out of lockdown but we are at stay at home rules still. Makes no sense.

Meanwhile for others its not so cheerful as News Corp/SKY chooses to ignore?

and the same in Vic... but a day earlier than NSW

NSW is doing nothing different or even better than Victoria. WA was the first state to use targeted lockdowns.

But nowhere near the freedoms of Qld, NT, WA, SA & Tas. Epic fail.
