Equally heartbreaking is to hear from the daughter of Holocaust survivor Paul Drexler talk about how her 10-year-old child asked her ‘why is it bad to be identified as Jewish?’ after their local school asked, as a safety precaution, that the students not wear their uniform outside the school grounds for fear of being identified as Jewish.It is abundantly clear that since October 7 there has been a failure of leadership across our government, our institutions, our society, to stop antisemitism.

Education is also key. A theme to come through the documentary is the disinformation and misinformation being circulated about Israel and the conflict, with many younger people increasingly relying on social media as their principal source of news.
