BREAKING: Qantas’s domestic cabin crew have overwhelmingly voted for industrial action in a ballot, threatening to disrupt Christmas travel for millions of Australians. Follow updates here:

Telstra breached rules on credit management for dozens of customers who were on financial hardship plans, the communications watchdog says.

Two of Telstra’s legacy IT systems were to blame for the action taken by the telco, with the status of affected customers not being updated. “Telco services like phone and internet are now essential to daily life ... so even briefly suspending or disconnecting customers can cause a real disruption to their lives.”

“Telstra must continue to address these longstanding issues as a matter of urgency so that its systems can deliver on customer safeguards,” Ms Chapman said.

Two-day-old baby dies in 'insane' Russian strike on Ukraine maternity hospitalNewborn&x27;s mother and a doctor were pulled from the rubble with Ukrainian President Zelensky condemning the shelling while first lady Olena Zelenska called the attack "insane". Noted the article is from CNN and AP. It continues to be challenging to get objective news on global political events in Aus, leaving the consumer with very little overall understanding of these events. Wikipedia being one of the better options, especially for historical context. And some people still want to negotiate with russia.... It's a terrorist state and you don't negotiate with terrorists. Ukraine needs air defence systems now. Yeah after Zelenskyy lied about the missiles in Poland and tried to start WWII nuclear Armageddon I don’t trust a single report coming out of the Ukraine
