ANALYSIS: Nationals push Murray-Darling Basin plans to House of Representatives, furthering rift with Liberals

The Murray Darling Basin Plan is going off the edge of a cliff and the Nationals — who've spent the majority of the plan's implementation in government — don't want to go with it.The Nats took plea today to the House of Reps, after pushback from the Senate earlier this weekWith water-saving deadlines fast approaching, communities throughout the Basin can see a train wreck is coming.

But this week, the federal Nationals acted as though those policies were not worth the paper they were written on. If that weren't bonkers enough, by Thursday – having thoroughly embarrassed and enraged the Liberals in the Senate – the Nationals rebooted their plea in the House of Representatives. There, leader of the government Peter Dutton was forced to his feet to prevent the Nationals from speaking. Awkward.Ultimately, the amendments were shut down, many dismissing it as a stunt.

I have heard this tripe since I was 20, now 63 and no repeat no result. Except draining huge amounts of money. Where are the hydrology reports and environmental modeling and then proceed. It’s not a half century problem.

China must Be Involved .

The orchestrating and furthering of any rift is by the media who in current times appear to take every opportunity to portray every action of the government in a bad light. What is being said is only exposing how wrong the academic perception of the MDBP really is.

Just bring on the election
