The Nationals’ allegedly “vague” demands on a net zero target will give Barnaby Joyce the room to negotiate something which could be “just as binding as net zero 2050 if you don’t pass it through legislation,” says Sky News host Paul Murray.

“The Nationals have apparently handed a list of concerns/demands to the Prime Minister,” Mr Murray said.

“The reporting about this is a little bit vague, there is not suggestion of this much money will equal support, or back in this process or back in that process.
