This shot showed ‘great dedication to seeking out unusual angles within our urban environments’, said the judges.Helen Turner in the kitchen of her Tennessee barbecue joint, Helen’s Bar BQ. ‘A perfectly timed image, and the composition is spot on,’ said the judges.The Portfolio prize is for a series of photographs from a particular location. The following three shots are from Mayotte in the Indian Ocean, off the north-west coast of Madagascar.

TikTok is required to support China’s ‘national security objectives’Internet 2.0 Co-Founder Robert Potter says TikTok is an application which is owned by a company which is headquartered in China. “It comes from a very different privacy culture to our own,” Mr Potter told Sky News host Sharri Markson. “It’s covered by national security legislation in China from 2017 and counterintelligence legislation from 2014. “Which says that it has to help China support its national security objectives, and it has a responsibility to not tell users when it’s engaged in surveillance.” and is this weeks winner of the 'Stating The Bleeding Obvious' trophy.
