Nathan Brown has agreed to a three-year deal to coach the Warriors after ruling himself out of the running for the North Queensland job.
Brown was scheduled to be interviewed for the job vacated by Paul Green at the Cowboys today, but has withdrawn to instead take over at the Warriors.Brown's Warriors contract will be signed off today and an official announcement is likely to come tomorrow. Caretaker coach Todd Payten knocked back the chance to become the full-time replacement for Stephen Kearney and is on the shortlist for the Cowboys job.columnist Phil Gould is expected to join the Warriors to oversee the club’s pathways and development.
