NASA’s Double Asteroid Redirection Test mission has launched on a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket.The rocket is aimed at twin asteroids Didymos and Dimorphos, which are nearby and do not pose any harm to Earth.
It is expected DART will hit Dimorphos at a speed of 6.6 kilometres a second in September of next year.
