A mystery person who purchased a Powerball ticket in Sydney has scooped the entire $50 million jackpot in Thursday night’s draw.
Officials from The Lott said the winning entry was not registered, and the lucky person may not yet realise they are a multi-millionaire.Spokesman Matt Hart urged all Sydney residents or visitors who purchased an entry in Thursday night’s draw to check their tickets. The NSW entry was the only division-one winning entry nationally.
“Someone is having a winning end to the working week, but first they need to check their ticket and discover they’re now $50 million richer,” Mr Hart said.another mystery entry won a $50 million Powerball prize . In that instance, the winner turned out to be a man from Mackay in Queensland. We can’t wait to see who the latest Powerball winner is.”
