There are many people experiencing great loss whether someone survived the Holocaust or not . It is sad for those who place a lot of value on ritual but ritual is about honouring life and social distancing is a form of honouring life .
Sad for Lena but many have lost loved ones during this pandemic and unable to attend their funerals. I too lost a family member one month ago today and we could not attend. It's what is in your heart and your memories that are important not the funeral.
