Tesla billionaire Elon Musk has listed two multimillion-dollar properties for sale just days after vowing to sell “almost all physical possessions”.

The Tesla and SpaceX founder took to Twitter on Saturday to declare: “I am selling almost all physical possessions. Will own no house.”Charlie And The Chocolate Factory“Just one stipulation on sale: I own Gene Wilder’s old house. It cannot be torn down or lose any its soul,” Musk tweeted.Shortly before tweeting his unexpected pledge, Musk claimed Tesla stock was too high – and soon after, $US14 billion was wiped off its market cap.estimates has a net worth of $US38.

One is a five-bedroom ranch-style home with an asking price of $US9.5 million while the other is a six-bedroom mansion worth $US30 million .Both are in Bel Air in Los Angeles in the US. According to the real estate listing, the pricier estate is situated on a “private knoll overlooking Bel Air Country Club and the city and ocean beyond”.

The home, built in 1990, boasts “large entertaining spaces, high ceilings and fine finishes” as well as a “large master suite with separate dual baths and closets, family wing, two-storey library, theatre, two-room guest suite, lighted championship tennis court, wine cellar, gym, pool, vast grassy yard and fruit orchard” along with a five-car garage.

The second property is described as an “updated, but carefully preserved unique, quirky and charming ranch style former home of Gene Wilder/Willy Wonka”.It comes with views of the Bel-Air Country Club Golf Course, with “distant city views” along with five bedrooms, 4.5 bathrooms, an oval pool and private guest cottage.
