A man who asked not to be identified was near the Country Road sourdough café with his two small children, and he says he saw a bloke in a green shirt start stabbing people indiscriminately.

We couldn’t work out what was going on, and then the person at the store said it sounds like a shot and she took us to the back where they can lock it from the inside.“And then we heard fire alarms, there were some people stuck in the change rooms, so we open the door and got them as well and then she led us through a back door.”
