‘Need to move on’: People are ‘bored’ with BrexitHistorian Sir Anthony Seldon says history will judge King Charles’ meeting with EU President Ursula von der Leyen as a “wise and prudent thing”. Sir Seldon's remarks come after the United Kingdom and European Union struck a new post-Brexit deal over trade involving Northern Ireland. Sir Seldon said King Charles would not have seen Ms von der Leyen without the Prime Minister’s endorsement. “This Brexit thing has gone on and on, here is an agreement, this is my view, which brings together most of the nation, Northern Ireland, for goodness sake, voted to remain,” he told Sky News Australia host Piers Morgan. “We just need to get over with it, we’re all bored with Brexit, we need to move on.” No it won’t 🖕 People are bored with ineffective, cowardly, greedy, grubby, self serving politicians. Royalty are losing their 'shine' for many, too.
