Elizabeth Struhs’ parents allegedly gathered members of their cult-like group to pray over the dying girl, and eventually, her body, instead of calling paramedics.

A Queensland mother accused of praying over her dying daughter as part of a cult-like group, instead of seeking medical help, has declined offers for legal counsel in the lead-up to her court appearance.

Struhs showed no emotion as she sat in the dock in prison greens, quietly answering Magistrate Kay Philipson.Philipson asked Struhs if she had read the evidence put against her by the prosecution, to which Struhs said she had.
