More than $100,000 worth of cigarettes have been stolen in a series of burglaries targeting service stations in Victoria's south-east.

Police said each time a man forced his way into the South Gippsland stores through the roof, before cutting the locks and stealing large quantities of cigarettes.READ MORE:More than $100,000 worth of cigarettes have been stolen in a series of burglaries targeting service stations in Victoria's south-east.

Police said five incidents took place between July 3 to October 1 between the hours of 3am and 4.15am. During the last incident on October 1, detectives believe a second man waited outside and assisted with carrying bags of cigarettes to a waiting car.Continue reading
